    Wink Gday

    Hi all,

Am just in the final stage of my firearms license application. Looking to purchase a rifle... 308? 270? will be used for deer hunting. Speaking of which, am new to that too. Keen to get out amongst the Christchurch Canterbury area if anyone has any tips?

Be keen to tag along with some experienced hunters. Decent fitness, low experience high shit talk.

Have been browsing the dealers an looks like the Tikka T3s are the safe bet? Looking for something in left handed if anyone has anything up for sale?

    Cheers!

    Welcome aboard

A tikka T3 is a great choice, stainless, well built and you can neglect them a fair bit and they just keep going.

A quality rifle at a good price.
