    G'day

Just thought I would introduce myself. It is my first time posting on this platform. I have been relatively active on other forums years ago now.
I live in Banks Peninsula, do a fair bit of shooting around the district. But my obsession is alpine hunting. Which I do a fair bit lately. I often travel for work and find myself close enough to hit the high country often.
I reload, enjoy it immensely, although to the truth of it, I'm really an old Fud that doesn't gravitate to the new school of long rang shooting or target shooting. It's just not my cut of meat.
I like straight lines on a rifle, no chassis nor tactical gears do it for me. Just light weight and practical tools that put the meat on the table.
Looking forward to the banter on this bugger too, so sing out. Happy to yarn always.

    Cheers

It's all relative, what you do is new school to me. I hunt with flintlocks and home cast round balls, modern guns make it too easy!

    Welcome.

    That's hard cool mate.
I agree, it is all relative, and we all share common ground. I'm not having a dig at other peoples preferences. Just stating mine as an introduction.

Experience. What you get just after you needed it.

    Welcome aboard
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
