    Hello Everybody,

    I am Auckland based and new to hunting, i had joined 1 hunting trip back in 2023 but just as a wingman.
    I just got my FAL last December 2025 and i would like to learn more hunting tips from the pros.
    Still deciding what calibre shall i purchase first as a newbie, but i will get there.

    Welcome GreenHorned.
    As you've probably already found there's lots of "What Calibre" threads so enjoy the read. Once you've found what type of shooting you prefer you can really start looking.
    Other than that, enjoy soaking up all the knowledge that's on here.
