    Greetings from Europe

    Greetings to all of you!
I'm from Europe (Croatia) and I'm an avid hunter and shooter.
    Shooting a couple of different calibers (.22LR, 6.5x55, 7x65R, .308, 7.62x54R, 9.3x62 and of course 12 gauge).
Been into reloading for a while and just started to fiddle with long range shooting (F-class) which I'm planning to implement in hunting as well.

Hope to learn a lot from you guys and wish to visit NZ one day for red deer, tahr and chamois hunting!

What part of Croatia are you in? What's the hunting like?

    Continental Croatia (NW).
Hunting - mostly wild boar, roe deer, red deer, hares, pheasants and in some areas fallow, brown bear, chamois and mouflon.
Most popular are wild boar driven hunts during the winter.

    Welcome mate.
We one day hope to visit part of your country as we have good friends who live in Russia but holiday often in Croatia (and they have extended an invitation to join them).
Driven hunts would be different from what we are used to over here
All those with dogs waiting no longer fear death. Those with many dogs waiting even welcome it in it's time.

Welcome!! Hang around here long enough and you're guaranteed a laugh or six. Feel free to post some pics of your local areas/animals. You seem to speak pretty good English by the way.

    Thanks Boulderman!
Will try to hang around as much as I can and post some pictures of my trophies.
Seems that you're from Sweden? Then we more-less hunt the same kind of game (except moose which we don't have, but I would like to hunt!).
BTW, does anybody know how can I get hold of Abe (tui man)?
Tried emailing him, but no response

@icebug Tell us a bit about your F Class experiences. As you will have seen there is a core of F Class shooters that contribute on this forum. Saw your Quickload results (interesting) for kimjon - just shows you the power of a forum and the ease of electronic coms these days. Maybe give us an insight to what powders etc you have access to. Cheers

As I said in my introduction, and actually made a mistake, I started playing with F-T/R, not F-class, I apologize for that.
Last year bought a rifle in .308 Win, after that I bought a scope, rings and a bipod. Now I'm in the phase of developing a good load using Berger bullets.
However, I have recently competed in F-T/R using factory ammo at 300 and 600 meters. I ended up 4th - not a bad start.
