    Cool Greetings from the North

    Hey all,

    Been on here for a while now and enjoy the forums good content and the good buggers on here. There is a huge wealth of knowledge to be found here.

    Born and bred northlander, grew up about 30mins north of Whangarei and live in Whangarei now. Lucky enough to be able to use firearms and spend a lot of time behind them growing up on a farm. Spent a large amount of time behind a shotgun in my teen years clay target shooting but now, rifle shooting and reloading is my passion. I have been bitten by the long range bug.... Hunting, well always love to do more and sure as hell beats a day in the office, but do struggle to get deer stalking as much as I would like. Sometimes the logistics of travel and time away with a young family don't add up.

    My day job is in IT - mainly behind the scenes now keeping businesses servers up and running. Have to say though, the outdoors is where I would rather be. We all have to do something to pay the bills and build custom rifles.

    Look forward to contributing on here where I can

    Welcome fellah.
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
