Welcome mate.
Interesting name. I grew up in a area where the puffies and their smaller cousin the Horned adder were very common.

Thank you.
I have chosen the name because I love snakes and Puff Adders and Gabon Vipers are among the ones I like the most.
I have also used that name for many years when gaming, so instead of thinking much about what name I should use here, I just as well chose that.
I have only encountered a wild Puff Adder once and that was when crawling on the ground in South Africa with my bow, trying to get close enough for a shot on a Blesbuck.
I suddenly discovered it about 1 meter in front of my nose and that clearly changed my plans for my approach towards the Blesbuck, making me taking a small detour around it.
Awesome. I had a few run ins with the puffies. As small as 15ck right up to the makulu's at just shy of 1m and as thick as one's forearm.
Always loved seeing them in the wild.
