    Hello from NY

    hey all,

i just found this forum so i thought i would have a look around.

back in the late 90s i spent about 1.5 years in oz and another 1.5 years in NZ. NZ is WAY better....but you all know that already.

i spent almost all my time on the S island. i lived and worked in Clyde picking fruit. i was even on TV once in NZ for a scary incident involving me hitchhiking, a crazy guy, a gun, and me. only i survived. more on that at another time. i spent some time in Makarora and the surrounding wilderness. i even volunteered to "work" in the back country at a few huts for DOC.

it was a great experience! got some trout fishing in too. the best of the best was the "annual Easter bunny shoot"! simply awesome! that brought me back to the bunny shoots in Idaho when i was a kid.

    cheers

    eddie

Welcome Eddie. Can't wait to hear more about the crazy guy.

Eddie you are in heaven pal. Doe on a hook, rifle on the ground and boat under canvas. Some would consider that a dream.

Yes sir, i agree a dream for sure.

I fell in love with my SCAR 16. I am trying to resist a 17 as we speak. I was ghinking about selling my ps90 to fund the 17..... Cant decide for sure.

I had to hang the scar up for a black powder rifle. I got one week left to get a buck with the black powder.

    Stay tuned.

    Eddie
