    Hello there

Hi everyone, Mike from Rangiora, on the very slow conveyerbelt towards obtaining FAL. Did the safety course yesterday so maybe only 9 months to go.
Currently shoot rabits in the backyard with a 22 air rifle.

    Welcome to the forum
Well done on getting the ball rolling with the license. I'll adapt an old saying, even the journey to a firearms license, starts with a single application

Welcome on board. You'll learn patience & stalking skills with an air rifle.

    Welcome
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Thanks everyone for the welcome. Im nearly 60 so a bit late getting into this. Ive only ever fired 3 firearms in my lifetime a .303 when I did a firearms saftey course in 1979. Then the RNZAF gave us all L1A1's for our recruits course, they are pretty cool, but of course off the menu now. And one day I fired a colt 20mm cannon from a Skyhawk only about 10 rounds till it jammed and we packed up and went home.
