    Hello and where do I contact North Canty Deer Stalkers

    Hi, My names Nick and I'm a newish member from Christchurch and mainly I'm into small game shooting with my 22 and supressed 223. What I'd like to ask is does anyone know how to get in contact with the North Canty Deer Stalkers? I can't seem to access their web page and want to find out more about joining..

    From what I do know there should be a meeting tonight being the last Monday of the month? Can any other chch NZDA members tell me more?

    Welcome nicklm. I just checked out the NZDA website and the Ashburton and North Canterbury clubs seem to be the nearest to you. I am sure that someone with local knowledge will chime in and correct.
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    Their website's down. Memberships secretary is Sonya Hodder, 03 339 7038. I'm not a member, but that's the contact I was given.

    They should be meeting at 7:30 today at 599 McLeans island, I'm heading along to find out about joining myself so I hope they are. I emailed the main office and they just gave me the info sheet for North Canty.

    Don"t worry, I went out there and I seemed to be the only one. I just got back home. I guess they aren't meeting today or they aren't meeting at their range.

    Cheers, well they should be having a public range day this Sat morning they normally do on the first Sat of each month so will head out to that and see if anyone is about and hopefully blast some paper..

    nope. Public day is the middle sat of the month and club day is the last Sunday.

    Hi, thanks scottrods, I got in touch with Sonya Hodder at NZDA and she has told me of the upcoming dates.. So William if you want to know the next meeting is Monday 24th feb 7:30pm, and that's at 599 McLeans Island Rd.. And the next public range day is the 8th of Feb. William if you want PM me she sent me the latest membership app form and newsletter so if you want them I can email you..
