    Post Hey All

    Hey Everyone,

Seems to be the custom to say hey to show we arnt an internet bot so gidday i guess 😅.

Iv just recently gotten my firearms licence and for sentimental reasons one of the first things i want to get is a lever action 22. Id be quite interested in knowing a few peoples opinions on which way they would sway and why.
Im currently leaning towards the browning bl-22 grade 2, im a fan of how it looks and the short throw of the lever, not the biggest fan of the 6mag capacity is all. Other ones iv looked at are the henry golden boy and of course a few winchesters.

Anyways, yeah be interesting to see what some of you have to say,
    Cheers

Welcome aboard. Through the pistol club I have experience with the stock standard Henry and can say that it gets a fair bit of use and has never had any issues.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

I've got 2 Browning 22s, not lever, but pump action (made 1917) and semi-auto (modern Miroku made one, but designed over 100 years ago). The guy new how to design firearms!
