    Hi

    Just joined the forum on the suggestion of another member. Spend December - April in NZ, and the rest of the year in northern Wisconsin and Minnesota in the US. Met a lot of great guys at the F-class nationals this year in Trentham. Looking forward to learning from other members about the great hunting and hiking in this stunning country.

    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    Welcome mate. Did I meet you at the Petone club house at Trentham by any chance?

    Your not by any chance the American fella thats learned to speak afrikaans?

    Yep, we met at Trentham. Thanks for the welcome. Life has been good down in Nelson after nationals.

    Thank you, been coming here since 2018 (except for the lockdown years), and really enjoy the weather and people. Two weeks ago it was -20 without the windchill where I live in the US. I hate cold....

    There's some regional competitions coming up
    Southland Champs in Oamaru Feb 10 & 11
    Otago Champs in Oamaru March 2 & 3
    Nelson Champs in Westport March 16 & 17
    Canterbury Autumn in Ashburton April 6 & 7
    Marlborough Autumn and Quad Teams Blenheim April 27 & 28.

    The folks at Blenheim Kaituna would welcome you most weekends.
