Thread: Hi all newbie looking at getting into service shooting, help?

Hi I'm new to this forum so I thought I'd better introduce myself, I'm a mad keen fisherman which has been my main interest for my 42 years. I started shooting in the late 70's with my grandfather at boys town in Auckland but never really got into it till I was 20 mainly air riffles, I still shoot air as I find it a challenge, I've developed a bit of a gun addiction haha my latest is a mod3 stag arms in .223. I live in Mt Maunganui and I want to get into service riffle shooting dose anybody know of anywhere in the Bay of Plenty that dose it? I've heard of some guys in Kawerau that do it but can't find any info on who or where so any help would be greatly appreciated. I'll sign out with a list of my riffles I'd love to post some pic's but dont know how as yet:-)

Gamo IGT whisper .22 grt4 trigger
Weihrauch HW77 .177 tuned and in a GinB stock
BSA hornet pcp .22
Norinco jw15 .22
Ruger 10/22t with a heap of mods in a Boyd's evo stock
Norinco M14 soon to be in a arc angle stock and some other mods
Stag arms mod3 ar15
Remmington 870 tacacool
And a couple of unidentfied old shotguns 1's a over and under & the other is a side by side hammer gun.
