NO I have never hunted the Rimatakas,,,,Wouldn't know where to start. How ever Dougie, I take it you do not have a FAL at the mo. Get that And I will take you for a overnight walk in the Tararuas. Give you some pointers if I can. Learn some from you. And have an exhausting weekend, see what we can see and have a crack if the opportunity arises.
By the way,,,I never had anyone show me how to hunt. Just got out there and did it,(walked around aimlessly), Learned from my mistakes and although I have not shot alot of deer, Every trip I seem to be able to spook at least 2.

Sweet sounds like a plan. Far out I hope it doesn't take six months for my ticket to come in the post. Been waiting for aaaaaaaaaaaaaages already!!!
