    Hi everyone

    I am kind of new to hunting and have found your forum a great source of info .
    Worked on a farm when I was 17 to 19 and contracted pest control for then nzfp , so had killed many animals .
    Now 48 , after raising a family told the missus 2 years ago i'm going to get my fal and shoot a stag in the wild !
    last year shot a young rusa , this year had an awesome experience with the son in law roaring in a handsome 8 point
    red . He came in hot then did a big loop around me before pausing to check me out about 8 metres away , Bang !
    Have shot a hind and stuck a pig also now and walked a lot of ks .
    Love golf , fishing , mountain biking , wake surfing , surfing but man I LOVE the bush !
    Always keen if someone in tauranga wants to join me

    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
