    Hi Fellas...and ladies

    I'm another newbie from Christchurch, very new to the sport, been gleaming information off you guys for a couple of weeks now and it feels a bit sneaky so here I am, always been a mad keen fisherman and done a little pig hunting when first arrived in awesome nz 6 years ago, from (UK) loved it! Get duck shooting every year with the in laws over the coast but thought it was high time I sorted myself out and got after some Deer, so at least by the time the boys old enough his old man will have half a clue.

    If any one is ever happy to take a walk along, be keen happy to carry(within reason)

    Anyway awesome Forum,great bunch and no Bs, been learning heaps and can't wait to be able to contribute and tell a few of my own hunting yarns.

    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
