    Hi from Rotorua

    Hi guys. Just got my FAL and am keen to get hunting. Shot a lot of 12 gauge back home in Ireland and have picked myself up a 10/22 out here the day my licence arrived. I'm now in the market for a .308 to start filling the freezer. I heard here is a good place to pick up second hand gear.

    Welcome to the forum, you should get out with the .22 for practice and confidence building, plenty of Wallabies where you are for a start. What sort of gear are you after? I may be able to help you out. When your post count is up PM me.

    I've been out with the .22 quite a bit. Been through almost 400 rounds in the last couple of weeks shooting possums & rabbits. Time with a gun in my hands won't be an issue.
    Initially I'll be looking for a .308, but being left handed, secondhand options are limited so I don't mind stretching for a new Tikka. However, anything else second hand to get me up & running would be good.
