    Hi from Tauranga

    Hi guys, my names Shey and Im reasonably new to the hunting game. Ive grown up on and around farms and done plenty of shooting over those years, but had a big break from it all and over the last few years slowly getting myself back into it.

    Im keen to get into some bush and do some real hunting. Ive spent a bit of time up at our local range and enjoy that, but on the odd walk Ive been on Ive enjoyed that more, even if the body didn't

    In sure theres a wealth of information on here and tonnes of experience and stories to be shared, so thank you all for those, and please excuse the dumb questions that will inevitably come.

    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction

    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
