    howdy

    Hi there

Just thought it was about time I introduced myself. I'm Will, a young man in Auckland who will (soon) have my FAL. i just need to pay the money and get the photos done ha. I have been lurking for a while just perusing various threads mainly trying to figure out just how far I have to drive to get somewhere I can hunt.

    so yeah.

bonus question. has anyone tried to transport an animal on a motorbike on the road i.e motorway? i only own a motorbike so i'll have to borrow a car from my family but my dad joked about just making a backpack out of an animal and just riding it home. not sure how i'd get rifle to and from unless it was a break down baikal or something or a gun bag strapped to the back?

Welcome mate, I have seen a wild pig on the back of a motorcyclist on the Auckland motorway. It was dead of course not some Toyota add.

Yep, Auckland sows are about the size of that deer.

@Russian 22 - welcome . Be sure to use the middle lanes of the Harbor Bridge when hauling one of these, its H rated for heavy vehicles.

    Welcome young fellah.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

You'll probably get your photo in the paper for offending someone.

Those must have been Harley Davidson riders. A beer belly is mandatory.

Be careful if you you have a deer or pig carcass on the back of your bike. The Harley Fergusson riders will get pissed coz it looks better than their missus's.

Slightly different it was mountain biking across Dunedin wih a kayak strapped to my bike.... Had a set of blue and reds flashing behind me after a few minutes he politely asked if I could see behind me, said no so he put it in the back of his wagon and took it home for me!!

See Np reason why you couldn't do the old straps of skin down the back into shoulder straps and back legs hooked in... Will be photos on here somewhere or YouTube, white tail backpack would be a good place to start.

As said before I can see someone being offended by it

The other option was to tie it to the back with elastic cord and webbing.

Thanks for suggestion. I'll have a Google and see what I can find.
