Howdy
G'day all. I'm a 40 year old father of 3, keen outdoorsman, spent most of my life on and in the big blue. Moved to Christchurch and learned pretty quick my diving and fishing days were over.
So I've taken up hunting. Progressively built my gear over the last 2 years. Couple of great walks in, 6 nights hunting Stewart Island, just got FAL and a .270 T3X to boot.
Joined North Canterbury NZDA. Membership application in with handloaders.
Shot 3 whitetail on Rakiura - one solo - Yankee Block.
Planning a weekender with the son in the next couple of months and a Spring Hut with the mates.
Here to contribute and learn.
Cheers.

Welcome along. Pack plenty of snacks and treats for the boy. They can power through the food while out on the big hunt with Dad!
