About LinkBacksI think the intent of the VFL http://www.police.govt.nz/service/fi..._to_import.pdf is clearly to cover visitors who bring firearms with them to the port of entry. It's not intended to be used as a Firearms Licence without the holder having brought in any firearms. I think you'll find you cannot effectively buy and sell a firearm with such a Licence during your stay, but you should contact the NZ Police to be sure.
