    Long time reader, first time posts. Intro.

    Hi guys,

    Just signed up. I’ve been reading on here for a couple years as a great resource for research. Spending more time hunting now so thought I was overdue to sign up.

    Based in Rotorua, 42 years old and getting my 10 year old boy into hunting too.

    Only really hunt big game and trying to get regular trips in around work. I used to be a raft guide and have my own boat and gear so love a good motu trip too.

    Currently shooting 6.6 creed and a 243 bush gun.

    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    Welcome aboard. I've seen vids on Youtube of Motu trips ( I think it was the Motu ). Looks fantastic. Cheers
