Thread: Morning All

Morning Everyone,

Intro required, seeing I'm about to start peppering people with questions. Relatively new to big game hunting, currently in the "max enthusiasm, no skill" category. Have a deer and a few goats under the belt, but all luck or private land. Hoping to be a bit more intentional with my public land attempts, so I'm keen to learn from all the years of experience.
Own a tikka 7mm rem mag, thought I'd only ever want one gun (foolish, I now see) and I've always enjoyed the longer range stuff. Have taken my stick for walks in the East Coast, Kaimanawas and Whanganui, but don't really know what I'm looking for.
Intending on joining the NZDA to meet more people and get some practice on the range.
North shore based and always down on a walk, so if anyone wants to carpool out of the big smoke, hit me up.
