    Hows it going guys, New Member here, I've just been given the advice that it's best to post an intro which I had overlooked. From Dannevirke in the North Island, avid hunter and just started in the long range game. Hoping to learn heaps of you guys! Cheers

    You will need a good thermos to keep your latte hot while hunting them Thar with that 7 08
    Have a look at gear lists on the search here and typ in Thar hunt etc plenty of advice just need to knuckle down with how you use the search engine.
    How’s the dog going?
    Now as a forum member we all need a post trip report with plenty of picks on how you get on good luck and cheers for the intro.

    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
