    New Member Waikato

    Hi All,

    I hope all is well and you are safe during this time.

    Just a quick intro my name is Rawiri Marshall I'm 31 and hunting is something I have wanted to get into for ages. However, I haven't done so yet. I have my gun license as I made that my first step to take, I also have applied to join the NZDA club and joined this page.

    I have been trying to learn as much as poss during this lock down watching you tube, reading and talking to family members who are into hunting.

    Im based in Hamilton and hoping to find someone who may been keen to share knowledge and skill set with me, Im a tradesmen painter and I know how painful it can be to have a newbie with you when it comes to almost anything so I'm open to paying if need be.

    Im big on health and safety and a fast learner so should be to much trouble.

    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    Im 23 and been doing it for a few years, by no means a pro but ive got a few. If you get stuck i don't mind taking you down for a hunt in the pureoras. Welcome to the forum
