    new memeber from taranaki

    hi guys my name is Jacob clement im 19 from new Plymouth taranaki. love hunting and outdoors and keen as. right into my shotgun stuff and have the bug for pheasants although its hard work with no dogs. no on in my family hunts just came from a line of fishermen so been teaching myself with the help of some mates. love it all from bush stalking sika in boyd to shooting reds up the tops in rahines. but my favorite has to be wild sheep. pretty cunning those things. have built up alot of knowledge of areas and out most weekends. also a comity member of north taranaki NZDA. well thats my introduction. if your around the naki or anywhere really and have a spot flick me a message

    sounds like you are right into it and off to roaring start...amazing piece of NZ you live in,deer a plenty right on the doorstep.

    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded

    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    Welcome, you seem to have managed to point yourself in the right direction. Also came from a "non-hunting, firearm family but was lucky to live in rural areas where others had the same interests as myself.
