    New to NZHS

    Hi all. New to this forum so allow myself to introduce myself. Not much to say really. I live near Huntly and work in Hamilton. Do all my hunting (small game) and target shooting on a family friends farm near Auckland, I am looking for somewhere shoot and hunt closer to home in the Waikato. Also getting into reloading for hunting, plinking and to save money so I'm gonna have a lot of questions about reloading, any and all advice will be much appreciated.

    Welcome mate. Might have to stop ya right there though, reloading, and 'to save money' doesnt work in the same sencence. Unless its " reloading isnt the way to save money"

    More you get into it, the more you shoot, the more you aquire, its a brilliant way to spend money

    Have a good lok round, plenty of great info and people on here

    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
