    Newbie

    Hi All, I'm new here, but have been interested in firearms and hunting since a boy.

    I've hunted and shot 4 species of deer, slaughtered many hundreds of goats, possums and rabbits, had an unsuccessful attempt at chamois, and now spend most of my rifle time cleaning up pests on my farm.

    I never got into duck shooting, so never had a desire for shotgunning, until I bought a Benelli M2 to clean out the turkeys and peacocks!

    Other arms include a Model 70 in .308, a 336 in 30/30, a CZ512 in 22WMR and a 10/22.

    Now I'm thinking of a smaller calibre centrefire for long(er) distance sniping of the wiser peacocks, and for some target shooting.

    I like the forum and pleased to be part of it.
