    Registered at last

    Hi Guys
    I've been reading threads on this forum for years and finally decided to get my a into g and get registered. I've been hunting all my life, mainly wild pigs, but have changed to deer as well in the recent years. living overseas (Switzerland) at the moment but try to get back to NZ once a year for family, hunting and friends catch up but as covid has shut the borders it has been a while since (3 years) that I've been able to enjoy NZ.
    Just thought I'd say hi and hope to give input if I can to this fantastic forum.

    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    I thought it was 'must', not 'can'. Isn't everyone in the territorial Army till a certain age, vehicles and weapons in your suburb's lockup?
