    Welcome! You can't go wrong with a stainless tikka t3 in a mid caliber. Won't rust like blued guns, is accurate, and reliable.

    I'd suggest joining the local NZ Deerstalkers while you wait on your license. They'll get you involved in the hunting community and you'll probably get out on some hunts with others while you wait on the license.
