    to identify this spider found today...have never seen its kind before...

    Just a small one EeeBees. There was a big sucker found in the Wairarapa in the last 2 weeks, they ooze a lot of gunk when you squash em. Used to catch them as kids in the Wairarapa

    That big one in the wairarapa was found by a friend of mine Matt charlton. So we get trapdoor spiders here now!!?.I remember disturbing a Sidney funnel web while fencing ,up there with a few of my scary moment's as there angry bastards.

    Probably a tunnel web? They live in holes in the ground usually filled with cobwebs, we used to call them trapdoors, we use to catch them in jars for pets, used to get some biggies, I remember!

    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
