    KPDX-KDFW....Portland to dallas

    Took a flight From Portland to Dallas the other day.......this is part of the Cascade Range near Bend/Redmond area of Oregon......the 3 sisters mountains and Mt Bachelor ski resort.......11,500 meters,38,000ft from the cockpit

    @A330driver I used to love asking the flight attendant if I could join the pilots on the flight deck and take the jump seat after take off.
    Flying in to Auckland at night was a great sight.
    You could see it clearly from the central North Island.

    Ah those were the days !!

    Yeah mate ... I would do it all the time... loved having the kids up there with mum and dad... I always granted those requests... they were paying my wages , it was the least I could do......

    Now... we have bullet proof doors and I carry a gun ... WTF ... what the fuck has happened ...

    Pre and post flight I get as many people,mostly kids that I can, to come up and do a photo op... they love it,it makes their day,even the big kids,mum and dad get to sit in the seats .... it’s the least we can do,... it makes my day as well
