Thread: Monopod for DSLR any recommendations

You can get walking poles with a thread on top to use as a monopod, might be worth a shot?

I have a tripod with a leg that screws off to use as a monopod, it does help steadying up with a long lens (best if the lens has its own mount) - though if the light isn't good enough for fast shutter speeds you're still relying on your subject staying still as well.
