Moultrie Game Spy M-80 XD '2012 (sample photos/video)

I decided to start a new thread, hopefully we can get a few different camera models and post some photos/video of each to help new trail cam users choose the right camera for them.

Moultrie Game Spy M-80 XD mini (released in 2012)

    Features:
    • 5.0 megapixel infrared game camera
    • Night range up to 60ft (roughly 18m)
    • Three operational modes
    • IR triggered gamer camera
    • Hybrid time lapse plot camera
    • Plot by day infrared by night
    • New Fast Fire continuous shooting mode captures up to three photos per second
    • Temperature, moon phase, time, date and camera ID
    • Illumni-night sensor provides the brightest and clearest night-time infrared pictures
    • New Motion Freeze technology reduces infrared nigh time blur
    • 16:9 widescreen images and videos provide a wider field of view than standard game cameras
    • Picture delay 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1-60 minutes
    • Records video with sound
    • Battery Life calculator
    • SD memory card slot – up to 32GB (SD card required for operation, card not included)
    • Operates on 4 or 8 AA batteries (not included; Duracell and Energizer recommended)
    • Includes weather-resistant casing, mounting strap, USB cable and Plot Stalker software CD
    • External power port for optional Moultrie Power Panel
    • Updated Plot Stalker mode captures images at preset intervals Plus images triggered by game
    • Takes up to 3,600 images in one day in Plot Stalker Time-Lapse Mode
    • Long range view for maximum field coverage

    My specifications:
    • Had to have a decent flash (night photos)
    • Small and compact
    • Wont break the bank
    • Video capability
    • Take decent colour stills during the day (5MP +)
    • Have a reasonable trigger time / recovery time / battery life
    • Ability to take a SD card (so I can check photos in the field using my digital camera and clear if necessary)
    • Weatherproof

Note: I ended up importing mine through a ebay/paypal, cost under $200 NZD landed. However, it did take a few weeks to arrive. If anyone wants the the sellers ebay name flick me a pm, otherwise Moultrie has a NZ site here (Redirect Moultrie to MoultrieNZ).

I'll be interested to see how they perform compared to the regular IR model.
