OK photos of a NZ Falcon

Saw this fella yesterday. Really quiet bird, let me get within a few metres and stayed there till I left. Such awesome birds.

Hard to take clear photos in torrential rain and blustery winds but resonably happy with these.

I'm drawn to the mountains and the bush, it's where life is clear, where the world makes the most sense.

Nice. That's some good head twisting in the first pic.

    Excellent.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Lovely photos. Well done Josh. I frequently get close to them but don't have the ability to get such stunningly clear photos. We have several breeding pairs outside our back door and we never get tired of watching them. Awesome birds.
