Hey, this is a very picture. May I ask what equipment you were using. Me, I am in Canon EOS, brought a Sony alpha third generation, but I gave it to my mother in law. \
I can feel what you want to capture...

Attachment 226537 this here would be one of my fav pics. The one of only a hand full of times me the wife and kids all got out for a hunt.
I am enjoying the dark clear nights. I got to set up my camera to take a few hours of long exposure photo's, and head off to knock a few rabbits off.
After stacking and processing the photo's I was happy to see the Carina Nebula pop out in all of it's glory. If you wonder where in the sky this is, it's close to the Southern Cross. This is taken with a Canon mirrorless camera, and a $90 75-300mm lens off trademe.

Those humans, if you want to kill it, then kill it in seconds. By Canon EOS, the big white lens 200mm. F4.0, range 40m plus, ISO 200, AV mode, only use the one way stabilizer, no tripod, picture was shot by hands hold only.
Finally got to sit in the back with a camera.

Candid picture taken by a good mate this roar. I love it because it shows my son and I (along with my hunting shadow Holly) in a mid teaching moment. I often wonder if he pays attention to the hunting advice I try and pass on, and this picture shows he does.

Several years ago now, 4wd club trip into one of the South Islands best huts.
@uk_exile. It was a photo shoot I did for some friends of ours that breed gun labs. I believe they sent it to rangier Toyota to be used. we only got 8 of the 10 to stand. took about 40 minutes and 3 people with treats to get that shot on the tail gate
