    Reconnaissance

Spent the day taking a childhood friend on a walk up into some uncharted country for me. Big thanks to Mac @PERRISCICABA For turning it into an armed tramp and being an all round legend. No claret was spilled but I'm positive if we we're there in the golden hours there wouldve been some action as there was an abundance of new and old sign. Next time the tent will be packed in. We made it up to the snow line from wakatipu level in good time and glassed for a few hours. I spotted one red bedded down along long way away in some nasty steep stuff before making the call to can it for the day and head down well before dark.

Feeling pretty knackered after the climb, Winnebagos for tea and the 2 and a half hour drive back to Invers.

    Beautiful country.

What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
