Anyone got a setup for videoing thier shotgun handywork?
a cheap helmet cam that is a cylinder shape strapped to the side of the gun works well it fits perfect on a benelli with mag exttender. I will try hunt down some photos. If you want very good footage get a go pro and attach it to your ear muffs or hat. comes out mint. if you can b convince the Mrs to hold a handy cam also you get two points of view which makes a good watch.
Is this just documentary, or is your aim to use it as a training aid ?
I'd go with head mounted gopro as well, strong side ear muff, so you get decent alignment with the barrel
+1 on multiple point of view, especially for training aid. For IPSC, we used one vid camera over strong side shoulder, and one from side. You get to fix a lot of problems real quick by watching yourself shoot
For doc more than anything
I might find a old set of muffs and attach a mates GoPro to them
Good finking shaggy
I'd be keen at seeing some footage
