    22 Creedmoor

    Got this Tikka 22 Creedmoor going today



    It has a 26" 1-7 fluted Bartlein #3B barrel



    Its for one of my good customers partner, the idea was low recoil with plenty of power with the 88 ELDMs & possibly the 90 grain A-Tip



    It shoots very well, I shot 12 groups stepping up in 1/2 grain increments, the smallest was 7mm & biggest 19 with four shots, the first one, settled on this one



    Its off to the very excited customer this week
    Overkill is underated !!!

    Decided to shoot it again last weekend just to make sure it was good to go, decided to take half a grain out of it for no loss of accuracy & little velocity lost



    Not a bad start from a clean bore

    Yes, not a big drama, only has to be done once

    I have neck turning tools permanently set up for a few cases

    Yes, I used Lapua 6mm Creedmoor brass necked down & neck turned
