I got my new projectiles today, just like the 425s
They are big girls, CEB .375, 450 grain Lazers, 2.5" long, the BC should be around 1.08
My new 375 DCM has only had 10 rounds through until today & those were shot in February this year.
I tried 3 powder loads stepping up a grain at a time with both AR 2218 & RL50, unfortunately the new brass is a little softer than the previous lot I used
The bottom group was shot from clean & cold, shots numbers 11-13 through the barrel, with my best guess for a starting load
The beauty of the CEBs is they don't change much as weight goes up so seating depth & powder charge is extremely easy to get right quickly.
Here is the .375 Lazer family from 325-450 grains, in 25 grain increments, some of these are yet to be released.
Here is the 450 next to .223 & .308 bullets.
I did some testing at 450 yards in reasonable mirage.
Over all I'm very happy so far with only 34 rounds down the tube & minimal copper fouling from the 7.25 exit twist Bartlein barrel.
I will try to do some ELR testing this weekend if weather permits, so I can finalise the exit twist for an upcoming barrel order.
