6 x 47 Lapua
I built this 6 x 47 Lapua on a T3 Tikka to see how it would go with an off the shelf reamer

It has a 22" 1-8 Krieger barrel with an M14 x 1 thread which I put one of my 7mm suppressors on.

It has a neck turn chamber which surprised me a little, but you only have to do it once & the fantastic Lapua brass should last for ages :)

It shoots pretty well to be fair with only 40 rounds through it so far shame the nut behind the butt was having an off day :(
Better last weekend than this one though

Looking forward to trying some 110 SMKs, probably not enough twist but time will tell :)

What powders are you finding are working with this and the 6.5 one you did out of curiosity Greg?
-
The 6.5L runs nicely with 2208/RL15/N140 with 123 class bullets but 2209 is possibly better with 140s.
The 6mm brother is well known to like 2209 with 105s.
That holds true in both of mine.

Took it up the range again this evening with its little sister the 22x47 Lapua to try the 110 SMKs,
The first shot ruined the group but it happens sometimes with a new rifle when its cleaned for the first time, which is why I use 4 to start with.

Its showing plenty of promise & great velocity :)

I took it up the range again yesterday for some more load development.

It seems to really like the Berger 105 VLD Hunting

Even with the velocities getting right up there.

Tried it at 215 yards in the wind.

This case really is a great thing with current powders breathing new life into it, even with the 22" barrel

Need to do more with this, but given the local ranges are closed it makes it difficult :(
Goes very well for a small case & short 22" barrel in a Tikka :)
