    Another 300 Norma Magnum.

    Since selling my last one I've been wanting to build another 300 Magnum, I wasn't sure if it would be another 300 Norma or a 300 Lapua Magnum.

    I imported some Petersen brass & tested it in a 300 Norma mag I put together for the purpose, it is much better than Hornady, Bertram & Norma brass

    A hunting trip next weekend forced my hand & this one showed up from Scott on Friday so I got busy to put it all together & get going this weekend.



    Nitrideded Defiance Ultralight action, Trigger Tech Diamond trigger 26" Proof Research barrel, T3 Terminator muzzle brake.



    It weighs 4.015 Kgs, (8.85 Lbs)



    It was being a little difficult & didn't really love the Berger 215 & 230 Target Hybrids so today I tried some Hornady 212 ELDXs & away she went



    It was looking pretty good so we took it for a walk this arvo to take some pics & bust some rocks at distance to check the data, lucky it only has a 26" barrel.



    It was a great success & hopefully I can get some terminal performance data for the 212 ELDX next weekend

    Don't know, its the first one that hasn't, I don't have time to argue with it, so I won't at this stage, she is done & ready to go

    Do you recon your better half would carry my rifle too? My Son is still too short and would drag the pack on the ground.
