    Rem 700 Titanium 7-08 Improved

One of my latest projects it was a Rem 700 Titanium 7-08, now its a 7-08 improved.

Terminator Products Cedar stock, Limbsaver recoil pad, light weight firing pin, DPT suppressor.

Might change the scope to lose some weight its still a little heavy

Only has a 17.5" barrel & as its light I decided to use the Barnes 110 TTSX for general hunting & to keep the recoil down for smaller users

Pretty happy with it to be fair

Thanks, yep Western Red cedar, pretty light just around 500 Grams IIRC... pretty soft to be fair but really light.

What speed those Barnes would have gone at into a normal 7-08 barrel of the same length?

Thanks, I use 2208 & Hornady brass, it works great.

Probably could get more performance from a different powder & tougher brass, but not after that with this rifle.

Its a 17" barrel not 17.5 so goes pretty well for what it is.

What sort of velocity increase are you getting out of the improved version over the standard 7mm-08?
    Every day is leg day.

I have no idea I didn't fire it before I improved it

Do you sell those stocks Greg?
Would they be more durable if they were coated with something like duracoat?

They take ages to make ( a day or so, $750-800 ), the Western Red Cedar is soft for sure but lighter than the Yellow Cedar.

I haven't tried coating them in anything other than Tru Oil over black stain.
