    I think I pay $5/kg for the finished product from my local guy when I take in venison for sausages. 20kg of venison becomes 25kg of sausages normally with a bit of fat added etc.


    Good value and 25kg of sausages is a good year's worth or more.... I still have 20kg of misc. meat from this year's roar frozen yet to become sausages
