About LinkBacksHare backstraps casserole, going into a pie tomorrow night.
soaked them overnight in 1L of water with 2 tsps salt. Rinsed and soaked all day in fresh water.
Seared off in hot dutch oven melted butter.
add chopped shallots, garlic, mushrooms.
S&P, gluten free flour.
1L of stock, 1 bottle of Scotts GF amber ale.
1 tbsp of homemade blackcurrant jam.
Tomorrow pie pastry top and serve with mash.
