    Dinner tonight...

    comprized of

Field Mushrooms and Smoked Streaky Bacon

What with the beautiful rain but relatively high temperatures, the scene was set for the perfect field mushrooms.

In the pan I put chopped one white onion, the top half of a leek sliced in a mix of butter and sunflower oil, then added the sliced streaky bacon, then stirred in the mushrooms, parsley and chives and added freshly ground green peppercorns, salt to taste and two pinches of Parisian Spice. Stirred as it cooked then added créme fraiche. Toasted bread. Had the pan a bit too hot so the cream did melt!!!!!

All those with dogs waiting no longer fear death. Those with many dogs waiting even welcome it in it's time.

I'm drawn to the mountains and the bush, it's where life is clear, where the world makes the most sense.
