Thread: Homebrew - What are you currently brewing?

I have been thinking about getting another coopers brewing kit to have another go after I made two brews and both attempts at brewing failed a few years back so sold my kit and now regret selling it. I do think I know where I went wrong with those two brews the first one was not left long enough to ferment plus I think it also got a bug in it after I had used bleach to try and sterilize the brew barrel and bottles (came out tasting like bananas) the second which was an irish ale the alc content was enough that your body went numb after one large bottle and turned you into a giggling idiot but tasted like utter crap and had no fizz to it but that part was my fault yet again I stuck in a whole KG of sugar when it was meant to be 500grams along with 300grams golden syrup while trying to follow the instructions online.
