I heard you hang by the head till it drops on the ground then if the dog doesn't eat it put it in a pot of water with a rock to hold it down and boil till the rock goes soft then eat the rock:D

May is suggest keep it simple.
Pluck the bird. Stuff the bird. Season the bird. Roast the bird. 190 I find a good temp for poultry and game bird roasting.
