    Plum Goat

Another experiment, turned out very yummy.

    Ingredients:
    800g goat leg
    1 Tsp Thyme
    1 TBS Rosemary
    Salt and pepper to taste
    Oil
    2 onions
1 TBS crushed garlic (if you like)
1 large can Plums in juice

Cut the meat into bite size pieces and roll in the mix of herbs on a plate. Brown lightly in the pan with heated oil. Salt generously, and if you're a pepper lover like me, a bit of that too! Brown the bone too. Set the meat aside on a plate.

Chop the onions and saute in the pan of oil and meat juices. Add the garlic for the last couple of minutes in the pan.

Chuck everything in the crock pot and leave for a few of hours.

This turned out quite runny and the plums have a strong, sweet flavour. I mashed up potatoes for a side and to soak up the yummy juices. The meat was very sweet and tender with the last few scraps falling right off the bone after only about three hours. I'm not sure if this would be for everyone as the flavours are quite strong but they are all things I LOVE (plums, rosemary, salt and pepper, garlic, onions, and pretend lamb) so it was gobbled down quick. Also note me and hubby are pretty big eaters so this recipe only really made two proper servings.

    Enjoy!
