    Smoker wood pellets

Anyone know where the best place is to get smoker pellets of various flavours in ChCh?
Want to make sure there is a reliable fuel source before committing to a pellet smoker.

    Cheers.

Thanks @kukuwai. Have family up there so that's useful to know.

Personally I wouldn't go for a dedicated pellet/biscuit smoker. To limited in what you can burn.
I have a Kiwi Sizzler. Not saying it is the best, but it's what I've got. It has a cast dish in the base which is heated by gas. And you can burn pretty much anything in it to make smoke. Saw dust, chips, chunks, biscuits or pellets so I've found.
Had a urgent smoke job on a large fish recently as my usual guy was away and couldn't do it.
Bought some Manuka chips and some Mesquite Traegar pellets because they were relatively cheap and sounded interesting.
I found by accident that if you put a couple of cupfuls of Traegar pellets in the dish and get them burning, then turn the gas off, it smoulders away for hours doing a cold smoke. And I haven't had anyone tell me the smoke job was no good.
A mate has a biscuit smoker, and he thinks twice about using it because of the cost of the biscuits. I can't comment on the Traegar smokers as I have only seen them on TV.

Thanks @7mmwsm. Some good information there to consider.
I have a weber baby q 1200, so grilling/bbqing meat is already sorted so was looking into getting a dedicated smoker. Cheers for your advice.
