I'll PM you my address;)
Sounds nice @EeeBees
Yummy sounds really tasty EeeBees
Going to preserve some ginger...I know it is pretty well ridiculous when you think about it...and the fact that it sells in the supermarket for $12.99 kg green (imported from Fiji) when you know that there are miles of it growing wild up in the North, makes the exercise possibly even more inane...notwithstanding, I am on a mission...:) More to follow...:)
Every garden up north seems to have at least a Lemon tree, and Feijoa tree, but the supermarkets still find a market for them at crazy prices.
I think the northland stuff is kahili ginger which is different to real ginger. Its a bloody pest and difficult to get rid of
Oh thank you @Marty Henry, I was led to believe it the one and the same...:)
For all the work this is the end result...will smother the pieces with chocolate nearer Christmas...
